Otherwise a 1946 – 1962 ‘revival show’ with lots of music (especially Rock ‘N Roll) from 20 bands, dancing in a 6,000 sq. ft. big top, dance classes, fashion, roller rink, vintage market stalls, street food, drive-in movie, drag racing, classic & custom cars. Pre-booked camping available at £45 per pitch.

A relaxed and friendly show. One of the first shows of the year so expect the first public display of new teams, new personnel, new paint schemes etc. But for the same reason you have to be prepared to be flexible in case not all the certification, such as Public Display Authorities, are in place.

Also expect music, local crafts, tanks, vintage and classic vehicles; steam; the Portsmouth model boat display team; military and civilian static aircraft, as well as fly-in and displays of modern and vintage planes.

The show is expected to feature a gathering of the Gazelle Squadron of at least six and possibly as many as fifteen Gazelle helicopters. There will also be at least 2 tethered balloons (weather permitting).

Tickets are on sale now at a very low price of just £12 for an adult (16 or older), £8 for a senior (65+) or £4 for a child (5-15)

  Festival 21 Danny House is a Grade 1 listed mansion dating from Tudor times, now providing serviced accommodation for retired people and bed and breakfast lettings.

Festival 21 celebrates the 21st anniversary of the Friends of Sussex Hospices charity.

Danny House was where the terms of the Treaty of Versailles were drawn up by Lloyd George, Winston Churchill and others in 1918. To mark this, the event will feature the Great War Display Team and Great War vehicles. The event starts at 2pm and concludes with a Son et Lumière played out on the facade of Danny House and a fireworks finale.

Biggest airshow in Ireland. Free air and sea displays, ground shows and exhibitions in two areas:East Strand and Lansdowne. The display line moved to the east side of the peninsular in 2014, bringing it closer to the crowd line and with the Giant’s Causeway and Dunluce Castle photogenically in the background.

North Coates Flying Club Autumn Flying Meeting Organised by the flying club based on the former RAF North Coates Airfield. This is not a full airshow but a member fly-in. Goodwood Revival

Step back in time to the halcyon days of motor racing at Goodwood. Revival is not just a celebration but a recreation of the ‘Goodwood Years’. Come in period dress and be part of the festival with period car and motorcycle racing, flying and static air displays of pre-1966 craft. Entry by advance ticket only – no tickets on the gate.

The 2016 Revival will celebrate the career of Sir Jack Brabham.
